Heart Singer

Heart Singer is a creative spiritual visionary trailblazer who guides herself and others through cycles of death to resurrection. 
She has been singing and making up songs, poems and stories her whole life. 
For years her songwriting was influenced by spirituality but lately she’s written vulnerable and honest songs about mental health challenges, PTSD recovery and ‘girl power’. 
Also known as Terry Ruth Eissfeldt, Heart Singer lives in beautiful Hyde Creek, is married to the love of her life, has 4 grown children and 6 grandchildren, 2 horses and 3 dogs.

Cody Woelflie

My name is Cody Woelfle, I’ve been playing guitar and singing since I was able to. Ive been an arborist since I was 18 and am now proud owner of Westwood Tree Service, we serve the North island and surrounding communities. Music is a huge part of my life and I am so glad we have the opportunity to be involved in this festival! Enjoy the show! ​

CURL

CURL is a west coast based blues band operating out of Victoria, British Columbia.
CURL consists of Helen Davies on lead vocals and guitar; Dee Cooper on keyboards and vocals; Susan Johnson on bass guitar and vocals; and featuring Jazz Fouladianpour on guitar and Andy Okell on drums
CURL has two CDs: All My Fault (produced in 2013 at One Ton Studios (and featuring previous drummer, Christa Rossner).
The latest CD is entitled Under the Table Wine and is scheduled for February 2017 release.

spitfire

Spitfire was formed in Port McNeill in 2019. After spending a few months together our efforts were suppressed by the pandemic but In spite of this we pushed on and have been working hard to establish the band. We are a local North Island group consisting of 5 members. The members of the band are Ryan Rushton on rhythm guitar, Luke Rushton on Bass, Riley Bateman lead vocals,  Dutch Ferguson on lead guitar and vocals and Randy Carter on drums and vocals. ​

SuperSauce

Sometimes a cover band is so good, you almost prefer the tribute remix to the original track. SuperSauce is that kind of band.
SuperSauce is a band that enjoys their own company as much as they do performing for others – likely because they don’t take themselves too seriously. With their fun-as-it-gets demeanor and skillful musicianship, this cover band puts a saucy spin on a sprawling repertoire of everything from modern day hits to the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s classics.

Tantro

Electronic producer and DJ, Tantro, has been creating and playing music for 4 years. Producing electro house and various other genres, his style is influenced heavily by artists such as Zedd, Justice, Avicii, and Martin Garrix. Find him everywhere @tantromusic

Jekyll n' hyde

Jekyll n’ Hyde is an unlikely brotherhood of North Island eccentrics, a construction contractor, a chef, an educator, a computer wizard, and a Zamboni driver.
​We aim to play songs that make you want to sing along and dance !  We are super excited for the opportunity to crank it up with you at the North Island Music Festival.

Dave Blinzinger 

Dave is a saxophone player out of Quadra Island with a passion for jazz music. 
He will be playing with a quartet at this years music fest. 

Jeremy Parker

A Vancouver island, tri-port area local whom classically plays as a hobby. Being an avid outdoorsman, working a marine type camp job and through involvement with the Van Isle Coastal & Backroad Awarness organization, find myself always on the go. Everything else are merely details.

Emma Garriott

My name is Emma Garriott. I'm a Port McNeill local. Lived here for a year and a half. I'm an avid musician singer/songwriter whose always trying to learn new things, lately especially with electronic music and recordings. I'm an author and I'm married and have a fluffy dog named Keep. My work keeps me busy when I'm not doing music in Alert Bay where I work with a bunch of awesome youth. I'm all about feeling free to express yourself and I'm happy to be here to share a bit of music with you awesome people.

New blackfish sound

New Blackfish Sound is a new band that got together a few months back. Armed with a new guitar player, some great covers, and amazing originals, our five-piece band has an extremely energetic and positive stage presence!
Trust us to get the crowd up and moving! Sing along with our lead singer Riley, and rock out with the rest of our band (Jayden, Wes, Patrick, and Ann-Marie).

Wine and Dine

Wine and Dine is a classic rock cover band formed in Hyde Creek in the summer of 2018. It's members consist of Carson Strang on the drums, Clayton Bono on guitar, Crystal van Mierlo on vocals, and Lucas and Ryan Rushton on bass and guitar.
